Located in the Atwima-Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region, Sokoban is a community of hardworking farmers and traders producing cassava, okra, plantain, and coconut. Like many rural areas, the absence of safe water had long affected families and slowed development. In August 2025, Water Solutions for Africa (USA), in partnership with Solutions for Safe Water – Ghana, completed a borehole project that transformed daily life. Today, more than 3,500 residents enjoy a steady supply of clean, potable water—reducing illness, saving time, and empowering local growth.
