Located within the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese District of Ghana’s Central Region, Asebu Nkroful is a farming and trading community where most residents make their living from crops such as cassava, plantain, coconut, and tigernut. For years, the lack of clean water limited both health and economic progress. In August 2024, Safe Water Solutions for Africa (USA), in partnership with Solutions for Safe Water – Ghana, completed the construction of a full borehole system. Today, more than 3,400 residents have reliable access to safe, potable water—improving daily life and strengthening the community’s development potential.
